What is the electric corridor of the CNR, Compagnie Nationale du Rhône? A network of stations along the Rhône to recharge electric cars, using CO2-free renewable energy.

The CNR electricity corridor?
Most of the charging points have already been installed, and CNR can now show you which areas of the Rhône Valley have charging points, with geolocation points for each town and village along the river.
Pollution is a major issue for the Rhône Valley in the fight against global warming, which directly affects the river and its environment. The energy sources in the electricity corridor come from low-carbon energies, mainly via the production of hydro-electric power stations in symbiosis with the dams.
The electricity corridor also benefits from wind power along the Rhône and wind farms in the west of France, close to the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel.
The aim is to create a network of charging stations for electric cars:
To gradually build up a network along one of Europe’s major transport routes, helping to develop transport that has a reduced environmental impact and is CO2-free.
Video presentation
“(…) In order to promote electric mobility and thus contribute to the fight against global warming, CNR is building fast-charging stations along the Rhône that are accessible to the public”.

Move in Pure?
The electricity distributed via the Move in Pure offer is marketed exclusively by ENALP, a subsidiary of CNR, while the charging stations are managed by Freshmile.
